History Pesa, a Polish locomotive manufacture, has presented the new Gama platform which should offer both-multi-system electric and a diesel-electric version. The name Gamma was selected as the best name of the new locomotive, after a company organized by Pesa. Other good operations were Ra[tor, Quadra and EnergyLok. The first unit should be ready in 2012 and will be a four-axle version of 3kV voltage systems. The exterior design of the Gama is in line with other modern locomotive products.
