Metronom Eisenbahngesellschaft mbH is a non-federally-owned railway company based in Uelzen,Germany. The company runs exclusively passenger transport and it's brand is often rendered in lower case as metronom and abbreviated officially ME or Mer. The company was founded in February 2002, and is operating passenger trains between Hamburg-Bremen/Hannover, Hamburg-Uelzen-Hanover-Göttingen, and Hamburg-Cuxhaven. They main locomotive currently in the use is a TRAXX P160 AC. Metronom doesn't own any vehicles or maintenance resources.
